Hey! I'm Kate.

My pronouns are she/her, and I'm the Founder and Creative Director of Field & Co. Creative.  

I'm a professionally trained designer and Provisional RGD member, but I'm also a cat mom, tree hugger, astrology weirdo and lover of a good copper-mugged Mule. In the summer you can find me in my kayak or in the woods. In the winter you can find me on the ski hill, curled up on the couch with a fuzzy blanket and chai latte, or playing ringette. 

My love of graphic design began as a child, creating posters, signage for the family business, playing with typography and never missing an arts class. Even though I'm a type-A perfectionist, I've also got a strong creative side that pushes me to be strategic and innovative. Studying at Conestoga College, I realized graphic design is what I'm meant to do. But, I also discovered a strong drive to make the world a better place, through volunteering, reducing my waste, or amplifying voices in the community to support social change. I decided to harness my design superpowers for good and launch a creative agency to help sustainable, inclusive and change-making organizations make the world a better place. 

I strongly believe that every organization has a story worth telling, and I'm on a mission to help brands share their values in an impactful way.

My team and I are here to help you every step of the way — from strategy and identity to website design and development. Your project is always getting attention from multiple experts, analyzing every perspective and touchpoint. And we couldn't do it without YOUR expertise, too!
